BYU–Hawaii New Freshman Admissions Criteria

1. Ecclesiastical Endorsement.
2. TOEFL 61; IELTS 5.5; Pearson Test of English (PTE) 44.
3. Meet the English test requirement.
4. Graduate from a three- or four-year secondary program. (3-yr. most common) Certificado de Conclusao de Ensino Medio Grau or Diploma de Tecnico de Nivel Medio ‘B’ average.
5. For the NAFSA grading scale, a 7 of 10 average is required on the Ensino de Medio.
