BYU–Hawaii New Freshman Admissions Criteria

1. Graduate from a three- or four-year secondary program. (3-yr. most common) Certificado de Conclusao de Ensino Medio Grau or Diploma de Tecnico de Nivel Medio ‘B’ average.
2. For the NAFSA grading scale, a 7 of 10 average is required on the Ensino de Medio.
3. Meet the English test requirement.
4. Ecclesiastical Endorsement.
5. Missionary and community service, work experience, and age may also be used as determining factors in admission.
