GUAM
BYU–Hawaii Freshman Admissions Criteria
BYU–Hawaii Entrance Requirements: high school transcripts and ACT or SAT. Students from Guam may participate in a special admissions program for Guam, Micronesia, American Samoa, and Hawaii.
Academic Factor
Generally, BYU–Hawaii looks for students with a GPA of 2.8 or higher and an ACT score of 21 or higher. Students with lower GPA or ACT scores can be considered for the Challenge Program.
Students admitted to the Challenge Program must meet all the requirements of the Challenge Program the first semester on campus to advance to the next semester. Requirements include earning a minimum of a 2.5 GPA with no Fail grades and meeting regularly with the Center for Academic Success for support. Students who "meet the challenge" will advance to the next semester as regular students.
For more information on how to submit your transcripts, see Transcript Submission.
