Fall 2020 Waitlist Applicants
Thank you for your patience as we continue to review your application in consideration for admittance to BYU–Hawaii for the Fall 2020 Semester.

Please keep in mind that although many qualify for admittance, we must be very selective as our University is small with limited space.

Due to the effects of COVID-19 on some of our returning students, we are experiencing delays in decisions for applicants on the waitlist for the Fall 2020 Semester.

You can expect to receive a decision for your admittance to the Fall 2020 Semester by June 1.

If you would like to move your application to the Winter 2021 Semester, please inform us via email.

International Admission Requirement Delays for Winter 2021 Applicants
Due to the impact of COVID-19 on international admissions requirements (high school exams, college entrance exams, English proficiency tests, etc) we may be flexible to allow you additional time to complete these requirements.

ACT/SAT for Winter 2021 Applicants
Due to the impact of COVID-19 on ACT/SAT testing, we may be flexible to allow you additional time to complete this requirement. Should you need additional time to complete an ACT/SAT test, please contact us at admissions@byuh.edu .

Updated Immunization Requirements for ALL Fall 2020 Admits
All students planning on attending BYUH starting in the Fall 2020 Semester must submit your proof of immunization to BYUH Health Services before enrolling in classes. You can submit a copy of your immunizations by fax to (808) 675-3506 or by email .

Required immunizations include the following:
- 2 doses of measles with at least one of the doses being an MMR (measles/mumps/rubella)
- 2 doses of varicella
- 1 dose of MCV (meningococcal conjugate) at age 16 or later
- 1 dose of TDAP at age 12 or later (with proof of 3 DPT and a DPT booster)

If you have not taken these vaccinations, please begin the immunization process with your physician or local clinic as soon as possible as vaccines with 2 doses must be given 30 days apart and all live vaccines (MMR, measles, and varicella) must be done at least 30 days before arriving on campus. If you cannot get these immunizations done before you come, they can be completed on campus for a fee. If you are not sure which vaccines you have completed, please fax or email a copy of your immunization card or record to Health Services and they can assist you with this.

You will also need a tuberculosis (TB) test. This must be done in the U.S. If you have received one within the past year, you can send a copy of the results to the same fax or email above. If you have not had a TB test, you can get it when you come to campus at no charge.
